This project is an installation-based series that engages in acrylic pour, exploring the quality of Michelin's standards. Inspired by the idea of gastronomy, I seek to investigate the essence of Michelin. Using paint as a star ingredient of the work, I decided to emulate the same experience of the chef's creation by re-inventing different ways using 1 ingredient. In this case, I explored acrylic pouring on different forms such as tiles, foams, glass etc. In doing so, the performative gestures of experimenting allows me to understand the Chef's hard work, tenacity and strength. Hence, this body of sculptural forms not only reflects the multiple attempts of the artist's creation, but also calls us to celebrate the spirit , passion and resilience of Michelin chefs globally. Each unique sculptural pour reveals different stories of chefs and their own journey.
